Joan Marie McCormick

Joan was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Jr. and son, Edward J. III, and her sister Theresa and brother Francis. She is survived by her son John and daughter-in-law Teresa of Brewster, MA, and their children Kaitlin (husband John) and Michael. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Elizabeth Maitland and her children Jacqueline and Julia (husband John). She is also survived by her sister Mary Ann Waygan, Godson Daniel Buckley, Goddaughter Kathleen Kell, and many loving nieces and nephews and devoted cousins.

Joan attended St. Patrick High School in Brockton, the Williams School of business in Brockton, and Northeastern University.

She formerly worked for Dr. Ralph Bevevino in Norwood, and recently for Dr. Benjamin Chung in Orleans and Brewster.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joan of Arc in Orleans on May 27 at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow at the church hall. A viewing will be held prior to Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans.
