

EAST ORLEANS – John Hull, 81, of East Orleans, died peacefully April 3, 2011 surrounded by his family. Born in Hudson, NY, to the late Conrad Hull and Rosalie (Czuchwiski). He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Schenectady, NY and entered the US Navy Reserves. He went into the General Electric apprenticeship program where he had a 41 year career in the steam turbine generator business.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. John lived life to the fullest, finding room in his heart as the caretaker and giver to many. John was loved by many and is already truly missed.
He leaves his loving wife of 57 years Anastasia, his two daughters Valerie and husband M.L. Buchanan Jr. of Virginia, Natalie and Patrick Moloney of West Barnstable; grandchildren M.L. Buchanan III and wife Gina of Virginia, Victoria Buchanan of Oregon and great grandchild Gabija Buchanan of Virginia.

Visiting hours will be held from 3pm-6pm on Thursday April 7 at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA 02653. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Friday April 8th at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Orleans, MA. A burial will follow at Orleans Cemetery.
