Lawrence F. Menenges

Mr. Menengas was born and raised in Provincetown, he was the son of the late Antone and Maria (Cabral) Menengas. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Louis A. Young Post 3152, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Brewster resident since 1966 and was self-employed carpenter and painter.

He is survived by his son David of Nashua, NH, three grandchildren, his sister Caroline Ograbiscz of Worcester, his friend Nancy Ferreira and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his eight siblings, Anthony “Tony” Menengas, Victor “Putt” Menengas, Mary J. Hilton, Isabel E. Thomas, Maria Conceico ”Connie” Senecle, Virginia “Gina” Joseph, Helen “Eilana” Menengas, and Melvin F. Menengas.

His visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. in the Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA.
