Lillian (Lil) Landers, 83, passed away peacefully on October 31st at Mill Hill Residence in West Yarmouth. She had suffered from Alzheimer’s and Dementia for the past several years and is now at peace.
A true Cape Codder, Lil graduated from Orleans High School. She later began a long career at Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank for over three decades. Always an avid reader and a talented craftsperson she enjoyed “creating” throughout her retirement until her illness made her unable to do so.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Carl and tragically by two of her children, her son Carl (Willie) Landers and her daughter Daphne Landers-Marino. She is survived by her remaining children, her daughters Traci Woodland of Orleans and Inger Montgomery of Brewster, her brother Fred Perreault of Orleans and her sister Brenda Winslow of Harwich. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Committal Ceremony will be held Thursday, November 4th at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA. 02532
