Madeline Dini

Madeline Dini, 94 of Eastham, MA passed away on January 11, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Mario Dini, both residents of Eastham for 30 years. Born in Stamford, CT, the daughter of the late James and Giovana (Gru) Caputo.

Madeline was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook who enjoyed trying new recipes and putting a stamp on them. Madeline’s Christmas cookies were one of the highlights of the season for many. She was active at the Eastham Senior Center and an award winning needlepoint artist. There will never be anyone like her again!

She is survived by her two daughters; Janet Dini-Bliss and Susan Fierson and her husband Jeff; grandmother to Bryan, Janet, Jenna, Victoria and Jillian.

Visiting hours will be held from 2p-5p on Tuesday, January 13th at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Wednesday, January 14th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wellfleet, MA. Burial will be private.
