Rebecca was born on September 3rd, 1937 to the late Robert and Viola Morris of Truro, MA. She is predeceased by her husband George R. Whiting and daughters Victoria and Holly Whiting, all of Eastham, MA.
She is survived by her son, J. Robert Whiting and her daughter, Heidi Root as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Rebecca, also known as Becky, graduated from Provincetown High School. She attended art classes at Castle Hill School of Art in her youth, and spent decades honing her skills with oil painting, becoming an accomplished and renowned artist. She leaves behind a legacy of masterpieces to be cherished for years to come.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
