Robert Michael Newton Sr.

Robert M. Newton (Bob) passed away peacefully on Monday February 5th. Bob was born in Fall River, MA and moved to Eastham where he grew up and graduated from Cape Cod Technical High School. He had a career as a boat builder and did commercial fishing and shellfishing. He later transitioned to a millwork specialist at Home Depot.

Bob loved the outdoors and riding his horse “Sparky”. He enjoyed boating and fishing and family, especially raising his son, Robert (Rob) Newton II.

Bob is survived by his love, Nan Berry of Ashland and his family. His son Robert Newton II of Rhode Island, and his parents, Gerald (deceased) and Diane (Cornell) Newton of Eastham. His brothers Christopher (deceased) and Julie Newton of Eastham, David and Denise Newton of Plymouth, his sisters Kathleen Beaulieu of North Carolina and Vince (deceased) and Cindy Newton of Washington, and his aunts and uncles, his adored nieces and nephews and his many friends. A special thanks to his doctors and nursing staff that made his care exceptional.

A Visitation will be held Friday February 16th from 5PM-7PM at Nickerson Funeral Home Orleans, MA.

The graveside service will be Saturday February 17th at 10 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Eastham, MA.
