Victoria W. Hunt

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of The Rev.Victoria Wells Hunt on March 13, 2026. May she rest in peace in her final home with our Lord Jesus Christ.Victoria was born to Vera and Reginald Wells on May 5, 1938 in Cleveland Ohio. She was predeceased by her sister Jane Wells Lawson. The family moved from OH to Weston, MA where they made their home. Victoria was graduated from Wellesley College in Wellesley MA. She Later entered the Seminary and became an Episcopal Minister. She took the position of Rector at Grace Episcopal Church in Weymouth, MA. She served that congregation for many years. She was active in many aspects of the Episcopal Diocese. She had many different interests. One was her great love of dogs and she had many furry friends through her lifetime. She enjoyed traveling (especially to Italy where she lived for a few years), Art, Gardening, Reading, Fine Food, and spending time with family and friends.She met the Love of her Life later in life....Marshall Hunt, also an Episcopal Minister. He predeceased her in 2020. They had 20 wonderful and happy years together on beautiful Cape Cod.

Victoria leaves her nephew John Lawson of Springfield MA, niece Laura (Eric) Beck of South Hadley MA, niece Melinda(Ron) Masters of San Leandro CA, Marshall's son Dale(Mary) Hunt, Kara(Kyle) Baxter & son all of West Chester PA. She also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews in addition to many colleagues and friends.

A celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 14th at 11am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 320 Boston Post Rd, Weston, MA 02493. Officiant: Bishop Gayle E. Harris. A light lunch will follow after the service at St. Peter's. Please RSVP to: Laura Beck (niece) [email protected].
