When I was little, my parents (Frank & Rose Lenz) would not let us play with sparklers on July 4th. Bill showed up after work (he still worked as a cop at the time and we lived in Elmont, NY) and brought sparklers with him. We shot them off. I thought he was so cool. Condolences on his passing. I hope his memorial service brings closure to all. - Cousin Karen Lenz Condren
