October 24, 1956 – January 28, 2026
Allen Dale Arnold, Sr., of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on January 28th. He was born on October 24th, 1956, in Seymour, Indiana to the late Nellie Hamilton Arnold and Donald Arnold.
Allen lived and worked with dedication and pride. He began his career at Thad Construction at just 15 years old and remained there until his retirement in 2019. His loyalty, work ethic, and mechanical skills were the hallmarks of his life. Allen had a deep love for helping others. He was known for refurbishing things that were no longer wanted and making them new again. He was exceptionally handy and could fix nearly any engine—something he truly loved doing. He especially loved his dogs, who were his constant companions. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and motorcycles.
He is survived by his children, Allen Arnold, Jr. (wife Kerrianne Arnold) and Alana Arnold; and his cherished grandchildren Peyton Arnold, Bray Sipley, Nathan Key, and Jimmie Allen Key. He is also survived by his longtime fiancée, Marion Sizemore, her children, Christy Bowman and Thad (Trey) Sizemore, his sisters, Carol Moore (husband Randy) and Gloria Cockerham Wilson, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held in March, planned to coincide with Bike Week, to honor Allen’s life and his love of motorcycles.
Additional details will be shared by the family at a later date.
