It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eddie Ford Jr. on November 8, 2025. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Sr. and Maxine Ford. He is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart, Kathy Ford; his children, Casey (Megan) Ford and Kelly Cormier; his beloved grandchildren, Zoe Ford and Kate Cormier; and one great-grandchild expected next month. He is also survived by his sister, Charlotte (John) Rinehart, and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Alvin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His warmth, humor, and kindness touched everyone who knew him. A dedicated employee of Florida Power & Light, Alvin took great pride in his work and in the relationships he built throughout his career.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he brightened.
Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, November 30, beginning at 1 pm at Casey and Megan's home.
