As a second daughter-in-law to Anna, I feel with my heart she was very happy her son John finally found happiness. John also loved his girls very much.

I have so many fond memories of Anna. She instantly made me feel like part of the family when we first met.  Visiting her in Florida growing up allowed me to get to know her well and was something I always looked forward to. When I went to college in Florida I had the comfort of family near by and enjoyed getting to take day trips to see her. Something she told me when I was having a bad day once was that, when she wakes up every morning she looks out the window and thanks God for another day and in doing that, it will always be a good one. I have done that everyday since. Anna was a very loving and beautiful person and I am happy I was able to call her my nana.

Anna and John made me feel so welcome when I first moved to the area.  I will always remember her beautiful singing in church, and her hospitality and sweetness.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.  May her memory be eternal.

I am so lucky to have so many wonderful memories of Nana. I will always remember visiting her at Kinkels when I was little, spending many Easters together in New Jersey and Florida, and playing her favorite game Rumi Cube with her. I know she is looking down on us from heaven with PopPop and my Dad. Nana you will forever be in my heart. Thank you for all the love and for introducing me to one of my favorite foods, perogies. I love you.

She loved her family and I have so many beautiful memories (and pics) of our holidays and parties together...her apple pie was like no other! She was Nana to my daughters and mother -in-law to me. We shared so much over the years. I have wonderful memories of playing tennis together, shopping for Easter dresses for my girls, sharing birthdays and holidays together, and playing Rummy-cube. She was such a sweet, caring, and loving woman who always had a smile on her face. As life changed for all of us, she still made me feel loved and part of her family. I will forever cherish her words,"You will always be my daughter-in-law". She will always have a very special place in my heart.

Even though Nana lived in Florida and I didn't get to see her as much as I would have liked, I will forever treasure the memories we shared together.  I feel so lucky to have been able to call such a strong, beautiful and kind woman my Nana.  She loved traveling and shopping, and made friends with almost everyone she came in contact with.  Nana always put others in front of herself, always made my family and I feel special, and always had a bright smile on her face.  I will never forget visiting Nana at Kinkel's, searching for Easter eggs in Nana and Pop Pop's sun room, eating her delicious pierogis and kielbasa, watching her and her sisters play cards for hours on end in Florida, putting together puzzles, and watching her cheer on Tiger Woods during the Masters.  I know that she is in heaven now with Pop Pop and my dad looking down on us and at peace.  I love you Nana and I will always remember the special moments we shared.

Nana would watch me everyday while mom was at work. We spent countless hours together playing games, riding bikes, eating her delicious meals, and shopping! My Nana took such great care of me and on her last few days with us I am so blessed to have been able to be there with her like she always was for me even though I wish it was longer. Nana was such a classy lady traveling the world with Poppop. I always aspire to be like her! I know she is now in heaven with Poppop & all the angels comforting her. I will miss her like crazy and will always LOVE my Nana Banana! Xoxo

We are so sorry for your loss, but we know Anna is smiling down and at peace with the Lord. Anna was such a good friend and room mate to my mother, Gladys Powell and her departure will be missed by all of us.  She was such a kind and loving person and when I last spoke to her, she told me she was looking forward to going home to her God.
We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the memorial service as we will be  out of town.

Frank I am so sorry to hear that your Mom passed away, my Mom Tressa that was friends with your mom at the Health center loved having lunch with her. They talked about which books they read. Can't even express how much Mom will be missed by family and friends. The last 3.5 yrs the Health Center of Daytona Beach became her home for the care she needed. Love, excellent staff and the home has character........
