Clara Albanese

Clara lived a full and beautiful life, calling various parts of New York and Virginia home before settling in Florida. Wherever she went, she brought warmth, generosity, and an unmistakable light that touched everyone around her.

Clara was, in every sense of the word, the light of her family's life. She had a heart of gold and gave of herself freely and without hesitation — always the first to help anyone who needed it. Her kindness and generosity were an inspiration to all who knew her, and she was loved deeply by so many whose lives she made better simply by being in them.

She found great joy in cooking for her family, dancing, and making memories of trips with those she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her son, Gary; and her sister, Anita.

Clara is survived by her two daughters: Laurie and Donna; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Lisa, Steven, Adam, Bruce, and Christopher; and 17 great-grandchildren who will carry her spirit forward.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, US, on April 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on April 23, 2026, at 1pm
