Dorothy Gorzynski

Dorothy was born in Aliquippa, PA on October 20, 1930 to the late Francis and Rose Gorzynski. Dorothy was proud of her participation as a teacher’s aide with the Volusia County School Board through the Council on Aging-Foster Grand Parent Program at South Daytona Elementary.

She is survived by her beloved children; Denise Smail, Wendy Schwind, Bobbie Barczynski, Mike Brannigan and Fuss Johnson, her devoted siblings; Albert Gorzynski, Leonard Gorzynski, Ernest Gorzynski, Martha Gorzynski Smeltz, Therese Ann Boyd and Susan Hamet, her loving grandchildren; Ronnie, Allen, Mellisa, Bobbi Jo, Heather and Summer and her eleven great grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by her loving companion CoCo.

A visitation will be held on Friday March 27, 2015 from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, located at 548 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday March 28, 2015 in the chapel at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Volusia Memorial Park, located at 550 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
