Edward J. McCoy passed away August 8, 2013. He was born in Amsterdam, NY on February 10, 1925. Edward proudly served his country during WWII with the Navy SeaBees. He went on to own McCoy Electric. He was a member of the American Legion.
Edward is survived by his loving wife Norma McCoy, son Brian, daughters Patricia, Linda and Maureen, sister Joyce, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughters Nancy and Susanne.
A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday August 14 at 1:00PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A time of visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Volusia Memorial Park. Donations may be made in Edward’s name to your local American Legion. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com.
