Eddie and I spent a great amount of time together. He very much took me under his wing when I first arrived at Fishkill Correctional Facility. After which, we immediately struck a terrific friendship. We made several weekend trips together and had so much fun. What I’ll remember most about Eddie is his is amazing laugh. When he would get on a roll and start laughing, you couldn’t help but laugh along with him. Such a genuine and loving soul.

Love you, Eddie. You’ll absolutely be missed.

I worked with Eddie,  his sense of humor was enormous.  My condolences to the family.

It’s hard to express just how much Ed meant to all of us. He came into my life 17 years ago when he started dating my dear childhood friend Jasmine’s mother, Donna, who is like a second mom to me. He made Donna incredibly happy, and from the very beginning, Ed treated all of her children as if we were his own.

I’ll always treasure the fun times we had in high school, cruising around in Ed’s Cadillac. His humor and warmth made every moment special, and his unwavering support meant the world to us. He would stand up for you, right or wrong. Alongside his wife, Ed was invaluable in nurturing my personal growth and supporting my success in business during some of the most challenging times of my life.

One memory that will always stand out when I think of Ed is when he heroically saved my son from a runaway stroller heading downhill straight for a pond during a visit in New York. His instinct to protect those he loved truly showcased the size of his heart. His last purchase here on this earth was a birthday gift for me, which I will always cherish.

To Donna, my dear friends Jasmine and Angel, and the rest of Ed’s children, grandchildren, and family, I extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Ed's spirit and love will always remain with us.

Rest peacefully, Ed. You will be deeply missed.

I was lucky to have Ed as a brother in law. He came into my life when I met his brother Joe in 1970. We had some great times thru the years especially for the holidays. Ed loved to cook. I told him he should have gone to culinary school but he ended up getting into corrections when the guys went on strike. He was hustled in real fast. He loved his job and talked about it all the time. 
I'm going to miss him. But I'm glad I have my memories and his art work. Rest in peace.

In 1998, I  was a "know it all" young Correction Officer and Ed was my Sgt. He was knowledgeable, informative and had a heart of gold.  Throughout my years in corrections, Ed's teaching helped guide me. You did great Sarge!
