Mrs. Esther Smith, 83, passed away on October 6, 2015, after battling cancer for several years. Esther was born on December 14, 1931 in Goodsprings, Tennessee. Esther is survived by; her husband of 40 years, Jim, her 8 children; Ann, James, Junior, Richard, Joe, Linda, Glen and Mike; her 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and 2 beloved pets, her dog Loo Loo and her cat Fluffy.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday October 9, 2015 from 12:00 P.M. ~ 1:00 P.M at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home-Oceanside Room, located at 548 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174. A funeral service to celebrate Esther’s life is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. following the visitation. Immediately following the funeral service there will be an interment at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, located at 550 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174.
