Geraldine “Gerry” Harbuck , 86, of Ormond Beach , passed away February 6, 2018. She was born in Jacksonville, FL daughter of Ira and Thelma Merritt. Geraldine had a career in banking as a loan clerk for Barnett Bank until her retirement in 1992. She loved serving the Lord and was a dedicated member of Riverbend Church in Ormond Beach. Her family will always remember her kind gentle spirit. Geraldine had a passion for counted cross stich and has completed many beautiful pieces over the years.Besides her parents Geraldine was predeceased by her sister Edith Carrol. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William E. Harbuck, Ormond Beach; sons, Tim (Lyn) Harbuck, Ormond Beach and Mike Sapp, Gainesville; daughter, Kelley McRae, High Springs; 8 grandchildren, Holly, Eric, Steven, Melanie, Christi, TJ, Buddy and Joey and 6 great grandchildren Trace, Katelyn, Lindsey, Talmadge, Kendall and Daniel. The family will receive friends 1:00- 2:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2018 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 548 N. Nova Rd. Ormond Beach.
