Icilda M. Williams

Icilda M. Williams, age 97, of Palm Coast, FL entered into rest peacefully March 1, 2016. She was born November 17, 1918 in Kingston, Jamaica. Icilda graduated from the Kingston School of Nursing with a degree in nursing. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in Detroit, MI at Deaconess Hospital. Icilda and husband Wilfred moved to the Palm Coast area in 1986 from Detroit, MI. They were both members of First Baptist Church of Palm Coast. Icilda was very active at her church; she enjoyed spending time with her church family and going on church outings. Icilda also loved to spend time reading. She will be missed by all, especially by her loving daughter Sonia and many extended family and friends. Icilda is preceded in death by her husband Wilfred Williams, who passed away in 2007. She is survived by her daughter; Sonia Lowe of Palm Coast, 2 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews. A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Palm Coast, FL on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The funeral service will take place immediately following at 11:00 am. A repast will held at the church prior to the interment at Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach, FL. .
