Janice was born in Daytona Beach on December 12, 1945, and graduated from Mainland High School in 1963. She was one of the first voices a person would hear when they would call the Daytona Beach News-Journal as she worked on the switchboard for 30 years. She was a devoted wife and mother and truly new how to make a marriage work. She enjoyed eating out, especially with friends, music of the 60’s and 70’s and going out to the movies. She also loved nature, watching all the birds and squirrels in our back yard. Janice had a heart of gold, was a kind and gentle person. She will surely be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband; Donald, brother; Michael Daly, a daughter; Wendy Madden (Marsha), Hixson, TN, step-daughters; Cyndi Pink (Cory), Canon City, CO, Donna Boone (Ryan), Newton IA, three grandsons and nine great grandchildren.
A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice
