She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray W. Harris, Sr., her parents, brother, two sisters, many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Elliott (Craig), Candace Harris (Richard Bryan), two sons Ray W. Harris, Jr. (Patricia) and Larry Harris (predeceased Shirley), along with her five grandchildren, six great
grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews
and many friends in Illinois, Michigan and Florida.
She lived a long, happy and loving life. Her love will remain in our hearts forever. We thank all of her friends and care givers for sharing and caring in her life.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 19, 2022 at the Bishop’s Glen Chapel in Holly Hill at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Bishop’s Glen Retirement Center, Solaris HealthCare Daytona, and Halifax Health Hospice or a charity of your choice.
