Dear Cousins - Bill, Dale, DJ and Eric plus families, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. Aunt Lola and my mother wrote letters to each other regularly for 50 years - amazing and I am grateful that my mom had Lola as a best friend. I'm now getting double the letters - two a week. I loved coming to your house in Bath and NC and your parent's place is FL. I always felt a warm welcome from your mom and can still hear her hearty, quick laugh as I think of her. I always thought she was kind and funny. Blessings and love, Kathy & Steve

I will miss you dearly. We had so many laughs together. One that stands out is every time I would call you...on your phone would say Eli... you would answer, “HI ELi” and laugh!! I will miss our talks and thank you for all your support through Dave’s illness. You fought ALS bravely and now you have won , you are with the love of your life. RIP beautiful lady...💕

My sincere sympathies to the family.... such a sweet lady. I sold her house on Fox Hollow and stayed in touch with her... but these past few months have been difficult. I was so saddened when I was about to post a birthday card to her on Facebook but instead saw the obit. 😢😢
