Margaret Joespine Reynolds

Josephine, 95, resident of Ormond Beach, FL, died June 6, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 17, 1920 to the late Joseph and Martha Needham of Pilot Mountain, NC. After graduating from Pilot Mountain High School and North State Business College in North Carolina, she was employed by Carter Publishing Company in Kernersville, NC as a secretary, bookkeeper and proof reader for ten years, then retired. She and her husband moved to Ormond Beach, FL in 1971. She married the love of her life John William Reynolds, Jr., and on Nov. 30, 2014 they celebrated 74 yrs of marriage filled with love and devotion to one another and to their only son, Billy. Jo enjoyed her home, gardening, reading, cooking and NASCAR racing. She was preceded in death by her husband John William Reynolds, Jr. on Jan. 12, 2015. She is survived by her only son John William Reynolds III (Donna), three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a cousin Margaret Talbot. She will be missed by her family, kind neighbors and friends. Memorial Services will be at Brookdale Senior Living, 550 Wilmette Ave., Ormond Beach on June 16, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. A private interment will be at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made at Vitas Hospice Care.
