Melva Maddox

Melva was a native Floridian, she was born on February 13, 1951 to the late Junior Lee and Rosanell Rhodan Burnsed in Jacksonville, FL. Melva was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated at the top of her class at Andrew Jackson High School. Shortly after graduating from high school, Melva married the love of her life Lenny in 1969. She also began her career in banking, a career that would span over three decades. She ultimately retired from Wells Fargo Bank.

Melva is preceded in death by her parents Junior Lee and Rosanell Rhodan Burnsed and her sister June Brown.

Left to celebrate her memory is her beloved husband of forty five years Lenny Maddox, her daughter Lisa Maddox, her sisters; Nell Collins and Robbie Parrish (Michael), brother-in-law Bill Brown and her grandson Maddox Berry aka ‘Mad Man’, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for Saturday February 21, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, located at 548 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Her celebration of life will take place immediately following the visitation at 2:00 P.M.
