Monroe lived with quiet strength and a generous heart. He had a sharp mind for marketing and a natural way of connecting with people — often through his signature humor, which he passed on to his daughters with pride. He was the kind of man who found joy in the everyday: time with friends, a good game on TV, and music — especially show tunes and oldies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Ben Gordon. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet; his daughters, Simara (Rae) and Michelle (Shawn); his sister, Natalie (Stan); his brother-in-law, Marty (Linda); many nieces and nephews; and Rigby, his constant and loyal companion.
Monroe will be remembered for his warmth, his steady presence, and his unwavering love for his family. His laughter brought light, his wisdom brought calm, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him
