Nicholas Robert Wesner

On Thursday, March 2, 2023, Nicholas (Nick) Wesner, a beloved husband, 71 years old, passed away. He was born to Robert and Evalyn Wesner. Nick graduated High School in Tipton, Indiana, in 1970 and then moved to Florida in the mid 1980s. Nick retired there after a 25-year career with the County of Volusia.

Nick and his wife, Lisa, spent their many years together traveling. This included; motorcycling the Blue Ridge Parkway, RV’ing throughout the Eastern U.S., and taking island cruises.Nick was an amazing husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend to many. His goal in life was “to make one person laugh everyday.” Nick was always welcoming and funny around family and friends.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Evalyn Wesner. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Lisa, his brother Tony Wesner, his daughter Christina Wesner, his son Nicholas Wesner II, his stepdaughter Lacy Gunter, his grandchildren Phoenix Hoffman, Alan “Bean” Maccaro, and Nicholas Wesner III. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Debbie (Terry) McGovern, his brother-in-law Mark (Lynn) Holstein, his nephews Josh (Carrie) Wesner and Andy (Andrea) Wesner and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousin’s and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 21, at 1 PM; followed by a Funeral Service at 3 PM. Both the Visitation and the Funeral Service will be at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL.
