Norman W. Henry, age 77, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Norman was born January 2, 1943 Wilkensburg, PA to his loving parents Henry Edward Henry and Blanche Miller.
After proudly serving in Vietnam Norman returned home and was assistant Fire Chief at West Wilmerding fire department west Wilmerding PA. Norman was also the owner operator of B & N trucking (FL) and Henry’s Towing (PA). He loved his family, going for rides, watching NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers, mowing his lawn and waving at his neighbors.
Norman is survived by his loving wife Bunny of 50 years in July; his four children Gina (Joe) Pavlic, Norman (Diana) Henry, Amber Henry Moore, William (Garfy) Henry, five Grandkids, Robert (Amy) Moore, Samantha (Michael) Kilgore, Carley (Dillon) Henry, Michael (Leah) Moore and Jake Henry; great granddaughter Makayla Jean; brother in law David (Sally) Pursehouse; sister Lorraine Guzewicz; best friend Douglas Meagley, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. All those that knew and loved him will dearly miss Norman.
A celebration of life and visitation for Norman to be held Friday, April 3, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174 with a celebration of life funeral service to immediately follow. A committal service will occur Friday, April 3, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL.
