Olive Croyle, formerly of Greensburg, PA, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was the daughter of the late John J. and Iva Myers Wallace.
Olive was reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Mervin Croyle; her brother, John T. Wallace; and her cherished canine companion, Heidi, who held a special place in her heart.
A woman of steady dedication, Olive devoted 30 years to Bell Telephone before transitioning to Florida for a long and well-deserved retirement. She leaves behind her sister-in-law, Martha Wallace, along with a loving circle of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Olive’s final years were brightened by the compassion of those around her. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to Erica Sroufe and her family for their unwavering care. A special thank you is also shared for her neighbors, Kathy and Andy, and the dedicated hospice team from Gentiva—especially Michelle, Jamie, and Andrea—who provided comfort and dignity in her final days.
In honor of Olive’s memory and her love for all creatures, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to your local animal shelter.
