

Pauline Lagerman passed away, Monday, August 29, 2011 in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico in January, 1919. She met and married Francis G. Lagerman and they moved to New York City in the early 1940's. She worked as a seamstress during the 1940's and 50's and went on to become a full time homemaker and loving mother to her six children. Upon retiring they moved to Palm Coast, Florida in 1975, where she played an integral role in making her neighborhood into a community. She worked tirelessly with her husband in the fundraising and establishment of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Palm Coast where she was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, and a devout participant in the Rosary Society and Crusillos. She moved to Daytona Beach, Fl. soon after her husband Francis's death in 1994 to be closer to her family. She is survived by her sisters, Cecilia, Ida and Sonia and her brother, Gilberto; her sons, James, Frank and David; daughters, Helen, Mary and Evelyn; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Friends may call 6-8 PM (today) Thursday at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 548 N. Nova Rd. Ormond Beach. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday in the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
