

James “Ralph” Tucker, a lifelong Floridian, passed away peacefully in the care of Hospice at age of 91 on March 23, 2026, in Ormond Beach, FL. He was born to Clarence Albert Tucker and Mary Ann Raudenbush in Pomona Park, FL. Preceded in death by wife of 55 years, Rachel Bernice Tucker, his son Clarence James Tucker, sisters, Millie Ida Stegner, Alice Emaline Walker, half-sister Wanda Beazley. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Marie Borden, husband (Allen), grandson Warren J. Selig II, wife Priscilla, their two children Zoey Rachel and Christian Warren Selig, and grandson Andrew Michael Selig, stepson Robert Tucker, dog Precious. Also left to cherish his memory are several nieces and nephews.
Ralph will always be remembered by his strong working beliefs and everyone knew him by his talent for being the best bulldozer operator in all of Volusia County and Palm Coast areas. He took great pride in his business, Tucker’s Dozer Service with the reputation of honesty and grit. Ralph was also a self-taught musician in playing his guitar, mandolin and keyboard, enjoying Folk and Christian music with friends and family.
A graveside service for Ralph will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local Hospice Center on his behalf.
