Shirley Norma Solana

Shirley Solana, 95, of Titusville, FL passed away April 18, 2026. Shirley was born in Thomasville, NC, on November 17, 1930, marrying John Mark Solana on July 1, 1991. Shirley worked in a medical factory for Sherwood Medical in Deland, FL. She had a passion for going to the beach, taking cruises, travelling, sports, music, dancing, spending time with family, and gambling. Shirley was also a fishing and RV camping enthusiast.

Shirley was preceded in death by husband, John Solana; parents, Clara and Frank Harris; sister Bernadette Williams, and brothers John “Jack” Franklin Harris and Barton Dowe Harris. She is survived by her three daughters: Pamela G. Murphy, Janet M. Butcher, Robin N. Long (wife, Angela); her grandchildren, Jessica M. Butcher Salazar (husband, Jeff), Julie M. Butcher (fiancée, Jim Gray), Matthew W. Fieldbinder, Johnathan L. Fieldbinder, Daniel R. Willeke, and Taylor J. Willeke. Also left to cherish her memory are her great grandchildren: John M. Butcher, Austin E. Wilson Salazar, Julianna M. Butcher Salazar, and Jaxson M. Butcher Salazar, along with her beloved dog, Brindle.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 27th from 1 pm - 2 pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home – Ormond Beach, 548 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach FL, followed by a committal service at Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond.
