Victor was born on September 26, 1931, in Bronx, NY, and was the proud son of Joseph and Bianca. He is pre-deceased by his older sister Mary who passed away in 2016. Victor is survived by his wife Colette of 64 years and sons Thomas, Paul and Michael. Along the way, Victor amassed 8 grandchildren: Christopher, Paul, Zachary, Christine, Lindsay, Matthew, Daniel and Marissa who brought him great joy. Victor was, quite simply, the Patriarch of the family.
Victor began his journey as an electrician for the NY Transit Authority but spent the majority of his working life at NY Telephone – one of the original “Baby Bells”. During his early years, Victor spent eight years as a Navy Reservist and eventually rose to the rank of Seaman First Class. After 30+ years as a phone guru, Victor decided to take early retirement and subsequently moved to Florida, which was his long term ambition.
Retirement in Florida was good to Victor where he enjoyed traveling with his wife and tinkering around the house. As an avid golfer and wood worker, Victor was always busy building things or working on his swing.
Beyond the traditional credits and legacy he so deserves, Victor was simply a man that everyone loved. He will be dearly missed.
