Victoria Ann Rosetti, 88 of Ormond Beach, passed away on July 12, 2014. Vicki was born in Wilkes Barre, PA and graduated from St. Leo High School. She started Nursing School but due to WWII went to work in a factory to support the war effort. In 1950 she married Daniel Rosetti and they soon relocated to Holly Hill. She was a jack of all trades, managing the family finances, doing all the yard work, maintaining the household and raising her three children. Vicki was extremely generous and loved everyone she met. She adored her granddaughters and avidly followed all of their sports. She was a fixture at their swim meets, softball games and basketball games. Vicki loved to follow sports and was a Seminole football fan and Gator basketball fan. Billy Donovan, "that good Catholic boy" was a real favorite. She once stood on tiptoes to get his autograph on a basketball for her granddaughter. Being a typical Italian mother, as Billy was signing the ball she said “Billy, I worry about you getting too thin, you need to eat more.
She is predeceased by her husband, Daniel Rosetti. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Ed) McLaughlin of Ormond Beach and by her sons, Daniel Rosetti of Ormond Beach and Robert Rosetti of Tallahassee and by her granddaughters, Kelly-Ann McLaughlin Jenkins (Jim) of St. Petersburg and Christine McLaughlin of Gainesville.
