

Walter Marrs Kressler Jr.,76, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on August 25th, 2013 in the company of his loving family. Walter was born and raised in Burlington, NJ where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth "Betty" Kressler. Settling in Delanco, NJ they raised their family of three daughters and one son. Walt was retired from Rohm & Haas in Bristol, PA after 34 years as a Lab Technician. Walt served his country as a member of the United States Navy on board the USS Witek, EDD-848 and enjoyed spending time with his fellow shipmates. He was also a member of Council 13018 of the Knights of Columbus in Ormond Beach. Walt is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Elizabeth (nee Tracy), daughters Kathleen (Chris) Lavender of Daytona Beach, FL; Colleen (David) Flacco of Ormond Beach, Fl; Debra (Russ) Mitchell of Delanco, NJ and son Walter III ( Kim) of Melbourne, FL. Loving grandfather to Jeffery (Jennifer) Lavender, Casey Lavender, Wiley Mitchell, Haley Mitchell, Daniel Flacco, Dominic Flacco, Ryan Kressler, Drew Kressler & Kelsey Kressler and 3 great grandchildren. Brother William (Jane) Kressler of Sun City, SC and Brother-in-law James (Carolyn) Tracy of Delanco, NJ. Services will be held at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach on Friday, August 30th at 11:00 am with internment following at Volusia Memorial Park on Nova Road.
