A celebration of life for Winifred B. Silvey, 90, who passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Ormond in the Pines Assisted Living Facility, Ormond Beach, FL, will be 11:30 am on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA with the Reverend Vern Coolidge as the celebrant. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the funeral home. The interment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Decatur, GA immediately following the service.
Mrs. Silvey was born in Atlanta, GA and moved to Ormond Beach, FL from Tucker, GA. She was a member of People’s Baptist Church, Tucker, GA.
Mrs. Silvey leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving son, Thomas (Jeannie) Silvey, Ormond Beach, FL; niece, Gwin (Lee) Oliver, Tucker, GA and her extended family including People’s Baptist Church, Tucker, GA.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Ormond In the Pines Assisted Living and Haven Hospice for the wonderful care of their mother.
