Peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Sager) for 58 years. Loving father of Marie and her husband Glenn Watson and Sandra and her husband Phil Martin. Cherished Granpa of Ellen and Curtis Watson, Andrew (Megan), Hannah and Emily Martin, and Becky Heron. Dear brother of Jack (Donna), Susan (Karl) Lowery, and predeceased by Clarence (Helene), Ralph (Janet), Doug and Don. He will be fondly remembered by Joan’s family, Barb (Alf) Goodall, Bev (Bob) Mitchell and his many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, October 18th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated.
