Dianna and Jason - the last time I saw Duke, he was running around third heading for home.  A perfect slide won us the championship.

Dianna and family:  We are deeply saddened to hear of Andrew’s passing.. we still remember his big smile and sense of humour..May the memories you have of him comfort you during this difficult time.. our heartfelt condolences to all of you.💕🙏

I can still remember the first day we met, Duke had arrived at St.Christopher’ as a quiet guy but soon became a favourite of the entire gang. Because of his older brother, Jay, who he always looked up to, he knew everything about US college sports, before any of us had even heard about the NCAA, oh…and he was the first to talk about this emerging music genre, called hip hop, while the rest of us were still rock’n Bryan Adams. Naturally,  he was the first person we ever saw wearing Air Jordans. The understated cool kid.
 As everyone knows, Duke had a way of being friends with everyone because of his charming personality. Most importantly, Duke was the most loyal friend anyone could ever ask for.
Diane and Jason, my thoughts are with you daily.  I thank you (and Al) for treating me like one of your own when I was a kid.
While time may have passed my fond memories and gratefulness for his friendship never will. I continue to live in a state of disbelief that one of my favourite people and long time friend is gone.
 The Dwyer boys have shared some great memories recently of Duke and it’s obvious he has left a lasting memory with all of us. 
I miss you Duke, we all miss you.

I was friends with Duke and few years ago and we lost touch, however I thought of him often. :(  I am so sad to hear of his passing.  My condolences to to his family.  I know how much you each meant to him.

Duke was a great friend and like a big brother to me in my early years. Always good for a great laugh and guidance from experience.

He was also a great friend to our family as a whole, he will be missed.

Celebrating St.Patricks day together at the pub.  He was always such a jolly guy. He was a great teammate and friend throughout high school and afterwards. We’ll miss you Duke.

Diana and Jason, we are so sorry to hear about Andrew’s passing. Our deepest condolences, thoughts are with you.

It is with great sadness that I have learned of  "Duke's" passing.  Years ago I was privileged to coach Andrew at Dwyer. As competition   goes  he may have played as an undersized lineman, that maybe had a step slow and pound light, but all that was out matched by his incredible heart, toughness and ability to work hard. In the three years we were together it was pure joy to be around someone who loved being part of team so much and quite often set the tone and pace for what needed to be done. Duke's consistency and heart made us a team that could run the ball against any competitor, and we had great success because of his efforts.

Andrew's personality was infectious as he could always make you laugh and he was totally comfortable at being the voice of reason or acknowledging the uncomfortable obvious.  He will always be remembered fondly. My deepest sympathies to his Family , his  Mom and Jay

 "God have mercy on his soul and may the blessings of heaven be on him now"   Prayerfully and Humbly in God's will ... but still  heartbroken
