Ann Theresa O'Toole

April 23, 1946 – January 14, 2025

Ann passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord with family by her side. Proud wife of John O’Toole (d. 2013). Beloved mother to Elizabeth and James O’Toole (Julia) and grandmother to James Butler. Cherished sister of Maureen (d. 2016), Bridget (Tony), Michael (Margaret), Christy, Vincent (Celia d. 2012) and Tommy.

Ann was born in Co. Sligo, Ireland and immigrated to Canada in her late teens, settled in Oshawa and started her family. Ann was a very kind and generous woman who will forever be remembered fondly for her sense of humor, incredible culinary skills and dedication to her family. Heartfelt thanks to the staff and volunteers at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa, and to Ann’s Personal Support Workers, Andrea and Caroline, for their dedication and care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 214 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa on Friday, January 17 at 10:30am. Internment at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby. Reception to follow at Thornton Arms Pub in Oshawa.
