I will always miss you MOM, you were the Best, and my Best friend. You were always there for me. It's been  2 years since you have passed and not a day goes by that I don't think of you. You mom were the glue that held us all together, I do my best to follow your ways, heck I even made shortbread cookies this year your recipe handed  down from Mrs. McGarry. I know dad is glad you are in Heaven with him. Know that I MISS YOU BOTH and keep smiling!

My sincere condolences to Anne’s entire family, I am very sad to hear of Anne’s passing, she was a beautiful woman inside and out.  Her infectious smile would light up any room she entered. I was honoured when she sponsored me many years ago when i became a Catholic at Holy Family Catholic Church in Whitby. I will miss her greatly.

The first time I belonged to anything was when I joined the Willow Park Ladies League in 2004.  I met Anne who welcomed me and made me feel very comfortable.  I had just started playing golf and was anxious to join a League.  The first day she told me that I would be golfing with her.  I was so nervous and asked her if I had to behave myself or be myself.  She laughed and said "just be yourself, this League is all about fun".  And it truly is.

In 2006, I volunteered to organize the Ladies September Get-Away and did not have a clue as to what to do. I turned to Anne for her help and guidance.  And over the years, she continued to be there for me when I had a problem or needed her advice on something - whether it was personal or golf related.  We would sit sometimes and share our stories of our families.

I would tease her and say she was "My Golf Mom" and she started calling me her "Golf Daughter". 

She was such a wonderful, warm and caring  lady  and I will miss her deeply -  her smile, her laugh and her sense of humour. 

My deepest condolences to Anne's family and friends. May your many wonderful memories of her bring you comfort and peace at this sad and difficult time.

We were shocked and sad to hear of Anne’s passing.  Anne was part of my life forever or at least it seems that way.  Kath and I had a wonderful visit with her just the Friday before she left us.  Anne was one of those people that didn’t matter how often you saw her, we just picked up where we left off.  That day, she said what a great life she had and when her time was up, she was ready.  She also said how wonderful her family were and if she needed anything, she just sent out an email and everything was taken care of.  I know she will be greatly missed but be happy she is with your Dad again and cherish your wonderful memories.  Lionel and Donna Kelly

My Mom and Anne were the best of friends. Anne was the President of the golf league and my Mom was the Treasurer. I would say this picture sums up the fun they had at Sunnybrae Golf Club! After my Mom died Anne was always there for me. She would be my shoulder to cry on, she always had a cup of tea for me and we would laugh and share about my Mom. I loved helping her set up the ladies golf stat sheets on her computer each year so she was ready to go. Anne had a big heart and l enjoyed my visits with her. I am going to miss our chats. I am keeping her amazing family close in my thoughts and prayers. She thought the world of all of you - you were all her pride and joy and were so good to her. I hope she is having fun reunited with her husband Mike, my Mom + Dad and all the others that left this earth too soon. Xoxo

We are saddened by the recent passing of Anne and send along our sincerest condolences. The Garrard Road community is forever grateful for Anne’s many contributions. She played a wonderfully important role in shaping our young community in those early years. Anne was a good friend to our mother, too. Anne was a wonderful, kind lady. I went through St. Gregory's school with her & played on Dearborn Ave. with her from our early years. We met at our school gathering every May. She was a dear friend to me. I send my sincere condolences to her family for their loss. God Bless them at this very sad time.

Sending my sincere condolences to Anne’s family. Anne was a fabulous lady and will be greatly missed by our Willow Park Ladies League members at Sunnybrae. I golfed many times with Anne over the years and appreciated her great sense of humour, kindness, and boy could she hit a golf ball in her day. Even when she could no longer golf she was motoring around the golf course on a cart ensuring everyone was having a great time. Our golf girls will always hold her memory in our hearts.

Anne was such a lovely soul. A good time was always to be had with her, especially if she was with my nana Madge. Anne was always welcoming, kind and bright and I am so sorry for your loss. She was a remarkable woman who will surely be missed.

My sincere condolences to the Gallas family.   I just met Anne when she moved to the Grand Vista and soon realized she was a  "tour de force".  Anne had a great smile and always greeted you warmly.  She loved playing cards and attending social events.  Her positive outlook, no matter what her struggles were, was a great example to all.  Her presence will be greatly missed.

So sorry to hear of Anne’s passing .  She was an amazing lady who handled all her challenges with grace ,determination and a smile .We will miss her smiling face and thundering voice at the Ladies golf league,
