Uncle Barry thank you for inspiring me to travel, for teaching me the elements of a great party (my favourite being a hat rack), for teaching me about our family's history, and history in general. You always had a story to tell and a joke to share. Your presence at family functions will be greatly missed as the party won't be the same without you.

My brother Barry will be missed deeply. He was a great man, husband, father, granddad and brother. He recorded nearly every minute of his life with his family in his photograph albums. I spoke to him recently and he said you should come down and look at all these pictures. They told the story of his life including all his travels and special events. He did everything he wanted to in life. He was great fun and very dependable. I can’t imagine a family gathering without him as he was always the centre of attention and could always laugh at himself. There will never be another Barry Williamson. He made his mark and will remain in my heart forever. As my mother always said “we’ve done all that” and Barry certainly has done “all that and more.” I love you Barry RIP your loving sister Myna.

Barry will be missed by so many. Bigger than life, Barry always had a story to tell of exploits in DuPont Refinish and elsewhere, perhaps even with a slight embellishment or two to amuse and grab your attention.
Always outgoing and good-natured, he was at his finest when carrying on as the centre of attention, a role that he relished.

Sherry and I offer our condolences to Kathy and the family in their loss. Barry was indeed “one of a kind” who will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, my friend.

Our sincerest condolences to Kathy and all the Williamson family. We had the pleasure of working with Barry at DuPont for many years. He was an amazing and unique individual that always kept us entertained with his many stories. He had the gift of making life seem like a wonderful adventure and everyone around him got to share in that adventure. Thanks for all the memories Barry – may you rest in peace
