Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Monday, October 8th, 2012 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Rene. Loving mother of Gisele (Carl Vesna), Claudette (Phil Archer), and Carmella (Tim Malkiewicz). Cherished grandmother of Michelle Taylor, Amanda Archer, Michael Malkiewicz, Christine Vesna and Melissa Archer. Great grandmother of Taylor Chadwick, Brayden Chadwick, and Connor Vesna. Predeceased by great grandson Riley Morris. The family would like to thank Dr. Baarucha and the nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville and the staff at Hillsdale Terraces for their kindness and support over the years. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, October 11th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH (194 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa) on Friday, October 12th at 11:00 a.m. Donations may be made to the Riley Morris Special Fund for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia – Mount Sinai Foundation.
