Mr. Bernard Conboy

CONBOY, Bernard (Retired employee of the DDSB) Peacefully with his family by his side at Thornton View Long Term Care on Friday, March 30th, 2018 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Loving father of Jacqueline Laidlaw, Lesley McAvoy (Tim), and the late Catherine Castilloux. Cherished grandfather of Jordan and Courtney, Mallory and Jarrett, Laura and Ben. Dear brother of Mamie McLaughlin, and the late James Conboy, and Edward Conboy. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. A very special thank you to the staff at Thornton View for their extraordinary care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, April 5th, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, April 6th, at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
