Berniece Ida Beaupre

Berniece is now reunited with her beloved husband, John, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage.

Cherished mother of Rochelle and Phillip (Catherine). Proud and loving grandmother to Jeremy (Renee), Jennifer, Justin (Crystal), Ashley (Kyle), Matthew (Tasha), Drew, and Lauren.

Berniece was a devoted great-grandmother to Austyn (Bella), Nick, Logan, Morgan, Lincoln, Brooklyn, Madyson, Violet, Milo, Bree, and Kayce, and a treasured great great grandmother to twins, Jasper and Autumn.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Robert (Pat). Berniece was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Eliza, and by her sister Ruth.

Berniece had a deep love for life and for the people around her. She especially cherished time spent at the cottage and enjoyed road trips to the countryside with John, searching for antiques and sharing adventures together. She loved being surrounded by family, grandchildren, and friends, and her home was always filled with warmth and welcome.

She enjoyed yoga and exercise and treasured the simple joys of everyday life, including Wednesday afternoon tea parties with the girls. Berniece’s kindness, vibrant spirit, and love of family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. She truly lived a full and beautiful life.

Visitation will occur at the Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4 on Friday May 15 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00pm. Followed by a service in the Chapel at 11:00pm.

Interment will occur at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, located at 355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, Ontario L1R 3L4 on Friday May 15 2026 at 2:00pm

In lieu of flowers, the family are kindly asking for donations to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society
