It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Catherine McQuaid at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 at 71 years of age. Devoted wife of Bernie. Loving mother of Kara (Peter). Loving stepmother of Kim (Larry), Danny (Mel), and predeceased by Rick (Charlene). Beloved Nina of Logan, Connor, Brayden and Megan, and cherished Grandma of Tammy, Christy, Brian and Tanya; Christopher, Brandon, Robbie and Kaitlyn. Cherished sister of Jack, Satch, Betty, Patti, Josephine and Donna Marie. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends and will remain in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, September 9th from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Tuesday September 10th from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
