Clarence Beverley Heard

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, September 8th, 2013, after a brief illness at the age of 93. Predeceased by his loving wife Doris (2006). Loving Dad of Danny (Lona) and Bonnie (late Newt). Adored Papa of Danna (Dave), Kelly (Doug), Alison (Joey), Suzanne and Katherine (Dan), great-grandfather of Kylie, Anthony, Julia, Olivia, Samantha, Lucas, Kendra, Vanessa, Erin and Colin. Clarence was a loving brother of Lorne (Ev), Shirley (Gord), Ron (Betty), Irene (Bill), the late Ina (late Don), late Ruby (late Bill) and late Don (late Ruby). He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Clarence will best be remembered for his great sense of humour, his tremendous love of music and gardening. He was a proud member of Golden Wings at 420 Wing. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the caring and compassionate staff of Hillsdale Terraces – Oceanview, as well as to the nursing staff of 6G at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for taking such wonderful care of Clarence and his family. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, September 13th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations would be gratefully accepted for the Centennial Albert United Church or a charity of your choice.
