Passed peacefully with her four daughters by her side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the age of 68 years.
Dearly beloved mother of Michelle (Derek), Melissa (Mike), Ashley (Ron), and Stacey (Brian).
Cherished Nanny of Brianna (Dylan), Ryan, Brayden, Makaela, Matthew, Annabelle, Emma, Macy, Brinley, and Raelyn, and proud great-Nanny of Olivia.
Sister of Sue (late Ray), Jim (Penny), Steve (Joan), David, Debbie (late Norm), and Gerry.
Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Georgina “Jo”, and her siblings, Jack and Joanne.
Born in North Bay and raised in Pickering Beach, Diane later settled in Oshawa where she devoted her life to raising her family.
Diane treasured every role she held—mother, nanny, great-nanny, sister, aunt, and friend—and carried each one with immense love and pride. She always went above and beyond to create traditions, build memories, and make ordinary moments feel special. Her greatest joy was having her family together, especially around the table for one of her big Sunday dinners.
Diane loved cooking, doing crafts with her children and grandchildren, welcoming company, and any gathering with the people she loved. She enjoyed a hot cup of tea, the music of Rod Stewart and Johnny Reid, and a good game of bingo back in the day.
Diane truly lived for every moment. She was always capturing life through photographs and videos, and those who knew her will remember frequently seeing her with a camera in her hand. Because of her, Diane’s family has a lifetime of memories to look back upon and treasure.
Whether you knew Diane for decades or shared only a brief interaction with her, she left a lasting impression. Her love, traditions, and the memories she created will live on through everyone whose life she touched.
She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her greatest legacy is the love she gave and the memories she made.
