Passed away with family by her side at Regency Manor Nursing Home on Monday, July 24th, 2017 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert of 72 years. Loving mother to Laura (Ray), Phyllis (Ted) and Herbert Jr. (Johanna). Cherished grandmother to Michelle, Denise, Jason, Laurie, Christopher and Stephanie. She will be sadly missed by 11 great grandchildren, her sister Laura Moore and other family members. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, July 29th from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Thornton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations will be gratefully accepted to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
