Passed away peacefully at The Wynfield on January 1st, 2016 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend, Stan (2001). Loving mother of Ronald Fisher (Brigid), Carol LaHaye (Guy) and Linda Lee (Ron). Dot is survived by her sister, Bea (late Bob). Dorthy will be missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and other relatives. She also leaves behind Leonard Fisher (Olga). The family would like to extend their appreciation to the caring and compassionate staff of the 2nd floor of The Wynfield for taking such good care of Dot and her family. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on January 6th from 2:00 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Dot’s final resting place will be with Stan at Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Corps., Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice.
