“Edy” passed away surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on September 12, 2026.
Edith will forever be missed by her husband John “Jack”.
Much loved mother of Carrie ( late Deb) , Ellen (predeceased) and Thomas “Tom” (Kelly).
Survived by grandchildren Cody (Chatelaine),Nick, Paige and Kyle.
Great grandchildren Harleigh, Hunter, Hayden, Carter and Liam.
Fondly remembered by her sisters Patricia “Patsy” (Dennis), Lillian “Lil” (Tom) and Wendy ( Dave). Predeceased by brother William “Bill” and sisters Kate and Donna.
Also remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Her memory will live on forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario, L1J2L4, on September 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service in the chapel, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Rd N, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 0C9, on September 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
