It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Edward McLean Henning. He died peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, April 9th, 2014, in his 66th year. Predeceased by his parents Elva and Gerald Henning of Greenwood. He leaves behind his loving wife, Catherine Henning (nee Kiely), his son, Kenneth Henning (Briana Henning), granddaughter Mia Henning, his brothers David Henning (Patsy) and Lloyd Henning (Gloria), as well as many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws of the Henning and Kiely family. Memorial visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, April 13th from 1 – 4 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held at ST. GERTRUDE’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King St. E., Oshawa) on Monday, April 14th at 10:00 a.m. Donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation – Dialysis Unit or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
